This notice should be read before purchasing or using a Blackline service. It does not describe every possible risk and does not replace independent financial, legal or tax advice.
Simulated environment
Blackline evaluation accounts operate with demo funds. Orders do not reach live markets unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise. Participation is educational and evaluative; it is not an investment in Blackline or a brokerage account.
Limitations of hypothetical performance
Simulations may use modelled execution and cannot fully reproduce liquidity, partial fills, latency, slippage, rejected orders, market impact, financing, emotional pressure or changing live-market conditions. Hypothetical success can benefit from hindsight and does not predict live performance.
Leveraged-market risk
Forex, CFDs, commodities, indices, equities and digital assets can move rapidly. Leverage amplifies price changes and can produce losses faster than expected. A strategy that remains within demo limits may still be unsuitable or unsuccessful in a real account.
Program-limit risk
An evaluation may end when equity, balance, daily or overall loss thresholds are reached. Spreads, commissions, swaps, open positions and calculation timing may affect the available cushion. You are responsible for understanding the exact formula for your program.
No financial advice or offer
Blackline does not recommend instruments, strategies, purchases or sales and does not manage user capital. Website content, education, examples, calculators, dashboards and support responses are general information rather than personal advice or an offer in a financial instrument.
No guarantee of progression or reward
Paying a fee, reaching a target or showing a simulated profit does not guarantee progression, allocation, employment, live capital or a reward. Decisions remain subject to the applicable agreement, rule audit, identity verification, payment checks and fraud review.
Technology and third parties
Platform outages, connectivity failures, delayed data, pricing errors, cyber incidents, maintenance and third-party interruptions may affect access or demo execution. Some events may fall outside Blackline's control.
Strategy and concentration risk
Automated tools, news trading, correlated positions, overnight exposure and concentrated risk may increase volatility or be restricted by a program. Approval of a tool or style in one phase does not imply suitability or permission in another.
Fees and personal circumstances
Program charges are service fees and should be paid only with money you can afford to spend without a return. Consider your experience, objectives, financial circumstances, local law and ability to follow the rules before participating.
Past results and public statistics
Past simulated performance, user stories and aggregate platform statistics are not reliable indicators of future outcomes. Verified reviews should reflect individual experience, not typical earnings or guaranteed results.
Your responsibility
Read the program rules, monitor the official dashboard, use secure devices and seek independent advice where appropriate. By participating, you accept that educational evaluation involves uncertainty and that no risk disclosure can eliminate it.
